Dear alumni and friends,

Spring is for new beginnings, especially for the remarkable students who bade farewell to the Forty Acres this month. Last week’s commencement ceremonies marked the culmination of years of study, dedication, perseverance, and grit for the Class of 2024.

I am convinced that our recent graduates will leverage the experiences, skills, and lifelong connections they forged at UT Austin to tackle the world’s challenges with reflection and courage. Join me in congratulating the newest class of global Longhorns!

Along with the following stories highlighting UT Austin’s most recent accolades, strides made in research, new global programs, and outstanding alumni, I invite you to read about the students who started here and are changing the world.
